This kit is the perfect project for someone who loves a creative hobby and likes to try something new! And once it’s finished, you've got a brand-new piece of modern, typographic, wall art for your home! It’s also a great way to chill, unwind and take some time to yourself.
This collaboration comes as a kit and contains everything you need to complete the design:
You will receive:
1x 6 page printed counted cross-stitch chart;
1x one of a kind hand painted 14ct Aida (perfect for beginners), with pre-overlocked/serged edges to prevent fraying;
3x bobbins of black DMC stranded embroidery floss;
2x size 24 cross-stitch needles;
1x Tips & Tricks card to help you get started;
All in a resealable washer and string envelope.
1 x large Project Pouch in the colour and design of your choice.
The kits have been designed, handmade and assembled by myself Joanne Hawker and Stitchsperation in our studios in Somerset. Please note that every piece of fabric is painted individually by hand so variations in colour and pattern will occur.
There are two colours of pouch to choose from:
Natural - with a black letter print
Grey - with a white letter print
Each 28 x 20 cm pouch is made from:
Natural - 100% Organic Brushed Cotton Canvas - due to the nature of the organic material please allow for some inconsistencies in colour and texture.
Grey - Brushed Cotton Canvas
Please note, this listing is NOT for a finished piece, the photos are just examples, the kit is for you to DIY!
The only other piece of kit that you might need to complete the kit is an embroidery frame of your choice to keep the fabric taut while you stitch and perhaps a frame to hang it in pride of place when it's finished. Please note, the frame and props in the photo are NOT included.
Your kit comes with hand painted aida, in your choice of colour (Sunset or Yellow) Please see images for colour examples.
The design measures 110 stitches across and is 121 stitches high. It should use approximately three 8m bobbins of floss (included) if using 3 strands at a time, less if you use the traditional 2 strands.
